TEAM
CAROLINE LALETA BALLINI
Art Director
Maliciously nicknamed “Mother Superior” by her team, she juggles hats, from art direction to marketing, from management to design. Developing an apparently inexhaustible energy, she puts to work her many skills, gained through dozens of press projects, in a journey that logically led her to give birth to the Paris Phuket in 2011.
Born in Paris and living in Phuket, raised by a father entrepreneur, author and publisher, with whom she created BD Magazine at the age of 20, designer of collages since the youngest age, she has successively been advertising assistant for France Dimanche, advertising director at le Figaro, studio director at France Soir and Artistic Director of the musical press group Melody Press. She then produced the layout for the daily Infomatin in 95, before spending 8 years at the prestigious advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather.
A lover of Thaïland, Caroline made the big leap in 2003 and became an expatriate, initially in Koh Pha Ngan, then Phuket. She came back to press, wrote for Gavroche, before creating Studio So What, a graphic studio and communications agency that would become the cradle of Le Paris Phuket - Paris Bangkok, followed by Latitudes…
Directrice artistique

CHRISTOPHE CHOMMELOUX
Chief Editor and author
Like Caroline, Christophe started in the press on the business side of things. First head of advertising, then journalist, section editor for CD Mag and finally editor in chief of Soundcheck. He created Home Studio with Caroline, then left for a few years in communications and document production for big international consulting firms like McKinsey & Co or the Boston Consulting Group.
In 95, he participated in the creation of the content of AOL France, where he directed the “Travel” and “High Tech” channels, then quickly moved to the nascent web, while continuing to write as a freelance journalist for the business press and many music sites, as well as humor books such as best-selling Le Chien, mode d’emploi.
Loyal to Thaïland, which he has been visiting for more than 30 years, he lived in Koh Pha Ngan from 2004 to 2008 before returning to Nantes to participate in the development of Radio Prun’. Cofounder of le Paris Phuket in 2011, he settled on the shores of the Andaman Sea after two years of remote work, and developed the magazine in the rest of Thailand, in particular in Bangkok, where he is now based to represent Latitudes and Studio So what.
